REGISTRATION
Register with your nickname, and use proper capitalization. None of that EvErY OtHeR LeTtEr crap.

CREATING YOUR CHARACTER
This is a no-acceptance RPG...which means you don't have to have your character accepted by a staffie. We figure that you're gonna play your horse how you want it to be played whether we accept you or not. However, please do use the form we have provided! You can make your personality, description, etc. as long or as short as you want, but if you edit the form your app will be deleted with no warning. Also, horse names can be reserved. Your horse's name will not be reserved until you post in this thread, but once you have, no one else can share your char's title. On the flip side, you should check the reserved names listing (see link above) to make sure the name you have chosen has not already been taken by somebody else.

ACTIVITY CHECKS
The last week of every other month here at The Equinox will see an announcement titled 'activity check'. It is very important that you give this post a look-see if you want to continue roleplaying with your characters. You'll have to post a link to one in-character post, written within the last month, for each of your characters. There is no limit to how many characters you can have here, but if you are not posting with all of the ones you've made, their apps will be deleted, and their names will be removed from the reserved list.

RESPECT
Please respect everyone else here on the site. Don't go around spamming in PMs or bugging the staffies. Trust me, you will feel the pain.

GRAPHICS
Your avatar can be fairly large here, 100 by 300 pixels if you need it. Signatures can be 600 by 300 pixels in size. Please keep the images tasteful, not too bloody, and calm in color. Radioactive neon yellow, for example, is bad.

ADVERTISING
There is a guest friendly advertising forum on here, where all you hooligans can come and post your ads. We also don't ban invisionfree forums. See how exceptionally generous and nice we are? So in return, we ask that you don't advertise anywhere else other than in those forums. This also includes the chatbox. So no spam.

CHATBOX
Don't we all love the chatbox? Good. So don't abuse it. Don't create trouble on the chatbox. We will find you, and we will cause you pain. There shouldn't be any swearing on there...so anything beyond 'shit' is no good. This is our public face, please keep it PG for the visitors. It makes them want to stay.

RATING
As per Proboards rules, Equinox is rated PG-13. This means that cursing and sexual references are permitted, while extremely violent scenes and PWP are prohibited. Despite the limits, if your thread has extreme violence or gore, heavy-duty curse words, or sexual references, you should have an [M] in the title somewhere so those who don't want to read posts of this nature won't have to. If you don't think a 10-year-old could get through it without gasping in shock, add the M.
